AFRICA - External assessment of the "Africabolition 2" programme

External assessment of the "Africabolition 2" programme

INANGA & our consultants carried out an external assessment in order to appraise the rollout of the program which was carried out by the the International Federation of ACATs (FIACAT) and the the World Coalition against the Death Penalty (WCADP)

Our clients in this project were:
The International Federation of ACATs (FIACAT), which is an international NGO focused on human rights and fights for the abolition of both torture and the death penalty throughout the world. This organisation enjoys Consultative Status with the United Nations (UN), Participative Status with the Council of Europe and Observer Status with the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR)
To learn more about FIACAT, you can visit their homepage here.

The World Coalition Against the Death Penalty (WCADP) is an alliance of NGOs, trade unions and bar associations which seeks a universal abolition of the death penalty. Its major actions involve supporting its member organizations, local, national and regional abolitionist forces and coordinating the international advocacy towards worldwide abolition of the death penalty.

About this project

The external assessment took place from September - November 2021 while the program which was carried out by FIACAT and WCADP was completed from July 2018 to December 2021. INANGA and its experts analysed the consistency, efficacy, efficiency, viability and impact of this project. Our experts also set out recommendations which sought to improve the work of both clients during their future endeavours.
